Florinda B. Romo

Florinda was the most caring, loving mom, mama, momma, thither, daughter, cousin, tia, friend and most of all the best gamma ever to her 7 grandsons. She loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren, always lit up every room with her funny, and optimistic energy. She was always smiling and happy go lucky. While enjoying her alcohol and going out was one of her hobbies, no matter what she was always there for her family. She cared more for her family at times even more than she cared for herself. Florinda worked for Superior Health where her coworkers enjoyed her work ethic and energetic spirit.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber M. Romo and son-in-law, Gabino A. Acosta; and daughter Alexyss R. Romo, son, Robert Romo Jr. and daughter-in-law; Selena Benavidez; grandchildren, Jasyk G. Acosta, Zayne A. Acosta, Korvin K. Acosta; Atreus R. Romo, Ares R. Romo, Ethan T. Rodriguez and Ezra J. Rodriguez; father, Joe John Barron Sr.; mother, Guadalupe C. Barron; brothers, John Barron and Jose Luis Barron; and sister Roselinda R. Carter and brother-in-law Delton A. Carter

She lived life to the fullest! Full of love, laughter and resilience she touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Florinda will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, followed by a prayer service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
