Frank lived a full life devoted to those he loved.  I will miss him.

I worked with Mr Frank Perales in the Post Office during the late 80s, early 90s. He's a great & friendly man. He helped me with several projects during his time in my office. God rest his soul & may God bless his family.

May the Lord light your path in heaven as he did here on earth, you will be sadly missed by all that loved you. You were an inspiration to me in many ways. I will always remember how you led the pledge at our meeting and other functions. Thank you for all you did for us (veterans)deceased and living, I'm sure I speak for all veterans when I say THANK YOU !!!

Frank, I will miss you as the children of San Antonio will miss Pancho Claus.  You brought happiness and joy to countless of children and others who, because of your dedication, were able to have a merry Christmas when you visited their schools, child care centers, homes for the elderly, and many, many other places.  The American GI Forum from throughout the country has indeed lost one of the major forces from its fold.  May God be with you, my friend.

As much as we would have liked to have had you stay  with us, we knew God wanted and needed you.  There is no doubt in our minds that he has a special deed for you now.

Our prayers go out to the family.  I met Uncle Frankie on two different venues.  He came into my store looking to engrave on the trumphets for the horns used in military burials.  He was so passionate about it, I ended up donating the work.  I then was blessed to have him become a fan of some of the greatest group of boys I coached at St. Helena's.  He was full of life and vigor.  He game those umpires one hell of a good time.  I can still here him yelling... OHHH come on Blue.  When Sal took that field his eyes sparkled and his smile got even bigger.  A true blessing to have met him and we are all better people for having known him.  He is know resting in a much better, kinder, and Loving world.  He is in the embrace of our heavenly father and he has joined those who have gone before him.  I am sure he heard the words.  " A job well done, my good and faithful servant"

We have lived next door to Frank and Margie for 31+ years. Frank would do anything for anyone; he did much to help our family more than once in times of great need. Jesus has surely prepared a special room in our Father's House for Frank to share the joy of Heaven with his friends and family who have passed before him. We, here on Earth, will remember Frank with love and admiration forever. His voice across the yard will be what I miss most. His long conversations with my husband, Jim, along with always asking if he can help somebody with something. Nobody had better stories, we loved to hear them when he shared memories of his travels and about his military life, especially of Germany. These will be just a few of the things we'll miss. My prayers go out to the Perales family.  I knew Mr. Perales when I lived in San Antonio, we both were in the American GI Forum.  He in the men's and I in the women's Miguel Hernandez Chapter.  I remember his dediction to the veteran and civil rights to all.  Rest in peace.
