George R Rodriguez

George R. Rodriguez, born January 21, 1947, passed away on February 17, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abundio and Graviela Rodriguez; his brother, Alfredo R. Rodriguez; and his niece, Sandra Marie Rodriguez.

George is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Rosario Rodriguez; his daughters, Rosa Ycela (Raul), Maricela (Raul), Annette, Priscilla, Annie, Roxanne, Linda, and Stephanie; and his sons, Joel, George Jr., Stephen and Juan.

He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Amalia (Anai), Rosario (Alvino), Miranda (Rene), and Jacob (Gissell), along with 25 additional grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, located at 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX, 78205, on February 24, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A prayer service is scheduled at the same location on February 24, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A chapel service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on February 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the chapel service, a graveside service will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, Cemeteries & Crematories, located at 1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX, 78214, on February 25, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
