Gloria Gamez entered eternal rest on July 15, 2015 at the age of 90. A native of San Antonio, TX, she was born to Gumercindo and Angela Martinez on May 23, 1925; she now reunites with her parents; husband of 44 years, Richard Gamez; and 8 siblings. She is survived by her son; Mark Gamez and wife Cindy; granddaughter, Lorena Gamez; nieces: Juliet Hinojosa and husband Frank, Beatrice Elizondo and husband Arthur, Maryalice Alvarez and husband Fidel; 6 great-nephews; and 2 great-nieces. Gloria enjoyed cooking everyone’s favorite dishes: chicken tortilla soup, menudo, Pina colada cake, etc. She was an avid Spurs fan and enjoyed playing bingo, loteria, poker with friends and visiting local casinos. We will all miss her, until we meet again!
