Gloria loved spending time gardening and enjoyed taking long walks outdoors. She treasured traveling with her family and friends. She also cherished the simple moments like sipping strawberry milkshakes with her son, shopping with her daughter and the joyful laughter of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gloria lovingly gave to help others by volunteering at multiple organizations within her community. She remained deeply connected to her Catholic faith and enjoyed attending services.
Gloria will be united in heaven with her parents Clemente and Lillie; brother Oscar and sister Bertha.
Gloria's memory will continue to live in the hearts of her sister, Naomi, brother in law Bill, sister in law Gloria Rathman-Valdez, niece Cynthia and their extended families; as well as her children: Alixander, his wife Loretta and daughter, Alisa; grandchildren: Veronica, Drake, Quintin, Sterling, Mckenzie; great grandchildren: Mason, Justin, Emilia, Zavien, Cobain, and Santana.
Gloria deeply loved and cared for her family, friends and others she met throughout her lifetime and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Gloria will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, with rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
