Guadalupe Flores 89, passed away peacefully with his family and his beloved dog, Wookie at his side on March 18, 2021. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Elena and his parents Luis and Dominga Flores, brothers Clemencio and Luis, sisters, Nina Colunga, Eloisa Heinz and Esperanza Cruz. Loving father to Pat Brindley and son-in-law Jim and son Rick. Proud and loving grandfather to Richard and his wife Erin, David and his wife Becky and to his great-children, Selah, Abel, Elliott and Owen. Brother to Olga Chavira, Minerva Martinez, Mary Garcia and Charlie. Further survived by nieces, nephews. Lupe will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and neighbors as a great cook, avid fisherman, traveler and a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran of 23 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, April 29, 2021 the Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gabriel’s Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer society.
