Guadalupe Gover, born on January 30, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas was called home to be with the Lord, on August 01, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her beloved sons Robert Gover and Samuel Gover III. Guadalupe enjoyed gardening, reading, and shopping. She loved animals and spending time with her family. Guadalupe was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, of 63 years of marriage, Samuel Gover Jr., her beloved children; Rosemary Gover, Andrew Gover (Martha), Alice Gover, Diane Cortez(Carlos), Gladys Cortez(John), Gloria Gover, brother Manuel Gonzalez, sister Janie Gonzalez, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 07, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main , San Antonio, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church with Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
