Gus DeLeon Rodriguez

(insert naval emblem) Gus DeLeon Rodriguez, beloved father and grandfather, entered rest on May 11, 2013 at the age of 92. A native of San Antonio, he was born to Jose and Ventura Rodriguez on April 4, 1921. Mr. Rodriguez honorably served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and retired from civil service with Kelly AFB after 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ramona Rodriguez and is survived by their daughters, Virginia Garcia and husband Paul, Mary Ann Quesada, and Cindy Soto; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
