Isidro B. Gonzalez, age 99, of Somerset, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Magdalena B. and Isidro C. Gonzalez. He served in the United States Navy and went on to work as an airplane mechanic.
Isidro is preceded in death by his both of his parents; his wife of over 30 years, Alicia P. Gonzalez; and his brother, Isidoro Gonzalez. He is survived by his 8 children, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Isidro will be held Monday, June 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00PM at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home the following morning, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 11:00 Am for a funeral mass at 12:00 PM at El Carmen Catholic Church, 18555 Leal Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78221. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
