Jaden James McCall

Jaden James McCall, 24, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026.

Born in Fort Hood, Texas, Jaden was the beloved son of Angela Gutierrez- Davenport and Joshua McCall. He was lovingly raised by his mother, Angela, and stepfather, Shaylin Davenport, who cherished him deeply and supported him throughout his life.

Jaden was a proud graduate of Byron P. Steele High School, Class of 2020. He was employed at Dollar Tree, where he worked as a stocker. Jaden was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to serve others.

Jaden enjoyed attending Every Day Christian Church and giving back to his community through volunteering. He had a deep love for animals and nature and found joy in being surrounded by the beauty of the world around him. He also had a wonderful creative spirit and was very talented at drawing. Through his artwork, Jaden was able to express his imagination and unique way of seeing the world.

Jaden was also known for his sense of humor. He was a very funny person who could make those around him laugh and brought joy to many through his personality and playful spirit. His laughter, humor, and ability to brighten a room will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jaden had a great love for swimming and was an exceptional swimmer. One of his proudest accomplishments was participating in the Special Olympics, where he shared his talent and love of swimming with others.

Jaden leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Angela, Shaylin and Joshua; his two brothers, Aaron and Andreas; and his two sisters, Amara and Avigail.

Jaden will be remembered for his kind heart, creative spirit, love of animals and nature, sense of humor, and the happiness he brought into the lives of those around him. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Rest peacefully, Jaden. Your memory will live on in the hearts of those who love you.

A viewing will be held at Everyday Christian Fellowship, 950 Everyday Wy, Cibolo, TX 78108, US, on September 25, 2026, at 9:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location at 10:00 am.
