Jaime Alberto Gallegos Salas

He was born on May 12, 1967, and was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Jaime was preceded in death by his siblings Estella Gallegos, Irene Gallegos, and Gerardo Gallegos.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kenia Gallegos and her husband Joe Ortiz; his son, Gerardo Gallegos and his wife Melanie Garcia; and the mother of his children, Sara Monsivaiz. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Jiovanni Martinez and Nayara Ortiz, who brought immense joy to his life. Jaime is survived by his siblings Yolanda Perez (Ramon Perez), Sylvia Veras (Pedro Veras), Marco Gallegos, and Martha Flores (Oscar Flores). He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews: Oscar Perez, Mitch Perez, Oliver Perez, Pete Veras, Randy Veras, Ernie Gallegos, Marco Gallegos, Gino Gallegos, Myra Gallegos, Jessica Flores, Oscar Flores, Juany Aguilar, Jose Guadalupe Pillo Aguilar, Araceli Aguilar, Hugo Aguilar, Brenda Aguilar, Raul Sanchez, Diego Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, and Braulio Sanchez, along with their families. He is further survived by extended family in San Antonio, Texas, and Monterrey, Mexico. Known for his tireless work ethic, Jaime was a man who could fix or build just about anything. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and never turned down someone in need. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing soccer, watching sports, attending rock concerts, and listening to rock music. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, who meant everything to him. He could often be found enjoying his favorite music, cheering on his teams, or relaxing with French toast and a Corona Premier. Jaime’s life was marked by his generosity, strength, and love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. The family appreciates all the love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

Jaime Alberto Gallegos Salas, de 58 años, originario de Mazapil, Zacatecas, México, falleció el 27 de abril de 2026, pocas semanas antes de cumplir 59 años.

Nació el 12 de mayo de 1967 y fue un padre, abuelo, hermano y amigo dedicado, cuya presencia será profundamente extrañada por todos los que lo conocieron. Jaime fue precedido en la muerte por sus hermanas Estella Gallegos e Irene Gallegos, y su hermano Gerardo Gallegos.

Lo recuerdan con amor su hija, Kenia Gallegos y su esposo Joe Ortiz; su hijo, Gerardo Gallegos y su esposa Melanie García; y la madre de sus hijos, Sara Monsiváis. También deja a sus queridos nietos, Jiovanni Martínez y Nayara Ortiz, quienes le brindaron una inmensa alegría en su vida. Conocido por su incansable ética de trabajo, Jaime era un hombre que podía arreglar o construir casi cualquier cosa. Siempre estaba dispuesto a tender una mano y nunca rechazaba a alguien en necesidad. Fuera del trabajo, disfrutaba jugar fútbol, ver deportes, asistir a conciertos de rock y escuchar música rock. Amaba especialmente pasar tiempo con sus hijos y nietos, quienes significaban todo para él. A menudo se le podía encontrar disfrutando de su música favorita, apoyando a sus equipos o relajándose con pan francés y una Corona Premier.

La vida de Jaime estuvo marcada por su generosidad, fortaleza y amor por su familia. Su memoria vivirá en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron y lo amaron. La familia agradece todo el cariño, las oraciones y el apoyo durante este difícil momento.
