Jesse Flores entered enteral rest on May 4, 2017. He is survived by his sister, Teresa & brother in law, Ken Vallier, niece Sarah & husband Andrew Elizalde, great niece Avery & numerous cousin's. Jesse had numerous friends & always enjoyed a great conversation. He was proud of his service in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. During his service time, he served aboard the U.S.S. Hornet, that participated in the recovery of the first Apollo moon mission.
Jesse enjoyed many activities including cooking, dancing, bowling & pool. His passion was yard work & the San Antonio Spurs. Jesse will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be at Roy Akers funeral chapel on Monday, May 15 from 5 -9pm with the rosary to be recited at 7 pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be on Tuesday, May 16 at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 907 W. Theo at 12 noon with interment at Fort Sam National cemetery at 1:45pm
