Jimmy A. Nickell went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2017 at the age of 73. He is survived by his loving wife Linh thi Nickell; his children and their spouse, Linda Nickell, David Nickell, Lynn and Doug Conn, Paul and Tiffaney Nickell; grandchildren, Ashley Howell, Melaney Nickell, Allison Nickell, Madison Nickell, Liberty Nickell, Halie Nickell, Case Nickell, and Trinity Nickell; siblings and their spouse, Martha and Pat Engel, Barbara and Loyd Burns, Mary Knight, Laura and Ray Latham, numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 with Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Honey Creek, 25781 TX-46, Spring Branch, TX 78070. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. San Antonio, TX 78209.
