Born on September 19, 1952, Joe lived a life filled with music, laughter, and deep love for his family. He had a passion for oldies music, could often be found shooting a game of pool, and always enjoyed watching his favorite movies and TV shows.
Joe is preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Ortiz. He is survived by his loving daughters, Josette Hernandez and Rosie Jo Hernandez; his brothers Jesse Hernandez, Fernando Hernandez, and Michael Hernandez; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his cherished aunt.
A visitation for Joe will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205
