Born on December 20, 1937, Julia lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. She was a devoted member of Casa Del Rey Church, where her faith in God guided her throughout her life. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering trust in the Lord were evident in the way she cared for those around her and carried herself through life's joys and challenges.
Julia was a talented seamstress who found joy in sewing and creating for those she loved. She was also an exceptional cook whose meals brought family and friends together around the table. Her greatest pride, however, was her family. She devoted her life to raising her children and played a significant role in helping raise all of her grandchildren, showering each of them with love, guidance, and support.
Julia also proudly served her community through a long career in civil service, working at Randolph Air Force Base and later with the Department of Veterans Affair, as well as USAA.
She is survived by her beloved children and their spouses: Oralia and Frank Serros, Rodolfo and Rachel Guerrero, Jose & Betty Guerrero, Juanita "Lala" Guerrero, and Pablo and Jennifer Guerrero.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and their spouses: Nina and Africo Feliz, Andrea and Dyami Luster, Joshua Salinas, Joseph and Marysssa Guerrero, Brianna and Tristan Tovar, Caleb and Angelee Salinas, Samuel Serros, Jonah Guerrero, and Nicole Guerrero.
Julia was additionally blessed with four great-grandchildren, Olivia Reign Luster, Alexandra Worth Luster, Dominic Feliz, and Isaiah Feliz, whose lives brought her great joy and whose futures will carry forward her legacy of faith, love, and family.
Julia's heart and soul were her family. She devoted her life to caring for her children and grandchildren, nurturing the generations that followed her. Through every season of life, she stood beside her family with strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the faith she shared, the traditions she created, and the countless lives she touched.
Julia's life was a testament to the power of unconditional love. She gave of herself freely, asking for little in return, and found her greatest fulfillment in caring for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that the lessons she taught, the faith she lived, and the love she shared will continue through the generations she helped shape.
