June Rios

June Morales Perez Rios, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend joined our heavenly Father on December 10, 2014 at the age of 40. She was a native of San Antonio, Texas, born on June 4, 1974, to Dr. Raul F. Perez, Jr. and Emma D. Perez. She is preceded in death by her father Dr. Raul F. Perez, Jr., and brother-in-law, George Moreno. She is survived by her mother, Emma D. Perez; husband, Benjamin H. Rios; son, Nicholas Rios; daughter, Emma Rios; and sisters; Joyce De Los Santos (Hugo), Nancy Moreno, Lynn Medina (John), Gail Lopez (Arthur), Alma LaCroix (Mark) and brothers; Richard Ramos, Sr. (Lillian), Michael Morales (Santa), Raul F. Perez III (Robin) and numerous nieces & nephews. June graduated from Jefferson High School in 1992. She enjoyed going to Car Shows & Comic Con events with her husband & children. Her laughter and comical jokes will always be remembered. She took great pride in her family and regularly attended activities for her children. June was a true family woman, she expressed so much love and care to her many nieces and nephews to whom she was a Godmother. Her proudest moments were those spent making memories with her family, as she was the “spark” to her family, their bright light and joy, and will be missed dearly. The family will be receiving guests on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary begin recited at 7:00 p.m. at Roy Akers Funeral Home. Service will continue on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, (1600 St. Cloud), to celebrate a 1:00 p.m. Mass. A one hour visitation will take place prior to Mass at the church.
