Born in Houston, Texas, to Fred and Wilma Rainbolt, Kenneth honorably served in the United States Army as a medic for two years before spending 30 years as a dedicated mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. In addition to his postal career, Kenneth proudly owned and operated Ken’s Lawn Service for 24 years, a business he worked hard to build and took great pride in.
Kenneth was a quiet and simple man with a deep love for music. You could almost always find him playing his guitar. Though introverted by nature, those who truly knew him loved his sense of humor, gentle heart, and steady presence. Above all else, Kenneth was a devoted family man who loved his family deeply.
He shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Joyce Ann Rainbolt. Together they raised two children, Kenneth Ray Rainbolt Jr. and Kimberly Kay Rainbolt.
Kenneth was a proud grandfather to Kaitlyn Rainbolt, Peyton Rainbolt, Shelby Land, and Zack West. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher West.
Kenneth’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
