Linda Rose Garza, born to Richard and Lillian Farias on December, 29, 1942 entered eternal rest on May 14, 2014 at the age of 71. She is preceded in death by her parents and son; Michael Garza. She is survived by her husband of 51 years; Mike Garza, daughters; Catherine Rose Garza, Christine Ann Garza, granddaughters: Myrissa Rose Garza, Claryssa Jade Luna, Savannah Elaine Luna, sisters; Ora Lee Arizmendi, Lillian Fonseca, and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was a former member of the all female group " The Uniques" in 1958. She played the piano and back up vocals for the group, this was definitely a highlight in her life. Recentely, in September of 2013, an article was published on the group and were hall of fame honorees. Linda will be missed greatly by family, but there is comfort knowing she is in a better place. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers. A memorial service will follow at a later date.
