Ludmila “Lucy” Minozevski, slipped from this world peacefully in her sleep early in the morning, July 30, 2013 at the age of 82. She was born in Russia on September 23, 1930. Lucy married Alexander Minozevski, moved to Yugoslavia and together they had one son and immigrated to the United States in 1973, and eventually settled in San Antonio, Texas. She loved animals especially dogs, and was also amazingly talented in sewing and gardening. Both Lucy and her husband were active members of the Church of Jehovah Witnesses where they both served until he passed away in 1997 and because of her Alzheimer’s she could no longer serve her beloved “Jehovah”. She was a strong woman, who was not afraid to speak her mind and had a heart of gold not afraid of hard work and helping when needed. If you were to ask her if she needed anything she would reply “no” with a smile “Thanks to Jehovah”. She leaves behind her son, Val and his wife Vallery; their children, TJ and wife Samantha, Susan and husband Chad, Alexander, Anastacia; five great-grandchildren; plus her adopted daughter, who has taken amazing care of her, Lidia San Miguel Moncada. A Graveside Service to celebrate Lucy’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Mission Burial Park South and an Evening Service will be held at 6:30 p.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8080 Tezel Road (78250). The family wishes to thank the staff at Sunny Spirits Assisted Living for taking care of her like family for the past 13 years and to Amed Community Hospice also for their care the last few years.
