Lupe S. Oliva

Lupe S. Oliva, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered rest on January 22, 2013 at the age of 91. A native of San Antonio, Texas, she was born to Francisco and Guadalupe D. Salazar on June 20, 1921. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lydia S. Rangel; husband Joe G. Oliva, Sr.; son, Robert S. Oliva; daughter, Sandra Grace, and grandson, Alfred Velasquez, Jr. She is survived by children: Joe S. Oliva, Jr. and wife Cruz, Frank S. Oliva, Sylvia Velasquez and husband Alfredo, Betty Mungia; grandchildren: Cynthia Oliva, Joe Michael Oliva, Mark Anthony Velasquez, Lorie Rosas, Sonia Soriano, Jerry Musquiz, Jr. and Robert Grace; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2013 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2013 for an 11:00 a.m. Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. A special thanks to CIMA Hospice for the tender loving care given to our Mother.
