Lydia V Ramirez

She had a deep love for animals and found solace in music, often sharing her beautiful singing voice with those around her. Lydia enjoyed watching telenovelas and spent countless hours tending to her garden, where she nurtured both plants and relationships with equal care.

Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur R. Ramirez; her mother, Anita D. Valadez; her father, Eulalio Valadez; and her siblings: Lalo, Ruben Diaz, Lolita Fuentes, Emma Conde, Irene Ortiz, and Joe Valadez.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita R. Gonzalez; her son, Arthur S. Ramirez; and a loving family that includes John Ruben, Aunjulie, Jacob, Liliana Valle, Brendan Strop, Lydia Elena, and Nicolas Ramirez.

Lydia will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Lydia will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, followed by a memorial service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to them for a cash contribution to the Heights on Huebner.
