Magdalena V. Ramirez passed away on January 10, at the age of 88. She was born to Eliodoro and Josefa Verastigue. She is preceded by her parents as well as her husband Ventura Ramirez Sr. She is survived by her brother; Francisco Verastigue sister; Guadalupe Barbera, children; Ventura Jr. and wife Rosa Linda Ramirez, Juan and wife Rose Marie Ramirez, Gloria and husband Ismael Benavides, Roy Ramirez, Joe Henry and wife Janie Ramirez, George Ramirez, Delia Ramirez as well as 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren with one on the way. Magdalena worked at St. Anthony Hotel from 1962-1992 before retiring. A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd.; Monday, January 13 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary service beginning at 7:00 pm. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am for a funeral mass at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clowers St. Tuesday, January 14 at 10:00am with burial at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
