Marcia Linn Ward

Marcia will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family. She lived her life with laughter, compassion, and quiet strength, touching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Above all, Marcia was a devoted mother, loving wife, soulmate, and loyal friend.

She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved, creating lasting memories through travel, laughter, and life's simple moments.

Marcia was the devoted mother of Sarah Ward Holtz (Matt) and Barbara Ward, and the cherished "Grammy" to her grandchildren, Logan, Lukas, and Linnea. She is also survived by her loving wife and soulmate of 38 years, Laurene Hammermeister, and many cherished family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Linnea Sandberg, and her brother, Dr. Glen "Bud" Sandberg Jr.

After living with Alzheimer's for the past ten years, Marcia faced each day with remarkable grace and quiet courage. Throughout her journey, she was surrounded by the unwavering love and devotion of Laurene, her children, and all who held her close.

Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
