Margarito Gutierrez Martinez, age 80, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. Margarito was born in Tampico, Vera Cruz, Mexico.

Margarito immigrated to the United States in his late twenties. He pursued his college education in trades and general studies. He was a carpenter and laborer by trade.

Margarito is preceded in death by both of his parents, Amalia and Pedro Martinez and his mother-in-law, Josephine Jasso.

Margarito is survived by his wife of over 50 years: Dolores Jasso Martinez, his 5 children; 2 stepchildren; and 6 grandchildren.

Services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 6:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM
