Maria A. Macias, 58, went to be with her Lord on February 17, 2021. Maria was born in San Antonio, Texas to Thomas Augosto Macias and Diamantina Capetillo Macias on November 22, 1962.

She was medical assistant for 20 years and dedicated volunteer for Boy Scout of America for 20 years. One of her many accomplishments include being Scout Master to Troop 87, assisting many scouts reach their Eagle Scout Rank.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents and her sister: Tina Macias. She is survived by her son: Thomas A. Alvarado and his wife Mercedes; sister: Ida Gonzalez and her husband Miguel; grandson: Isaac Alvarado and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Recitation of The Rosary at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, March 4, 2021, the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Prayers at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, at 10:00 a.m., with interment at San Fernando II.

My heart hurts knowing your gone but I find comfort knowing your at peace and with my Momma and our Mama and Belo. I love you Toti and thank you for always being there for me and being the best aunt ever. From our endless weekends to taking me to every boy scout event you did. I'll always hold our memories in my heart. I love you and I'll miss you terribly
