Maria Luisa Perez, age 89 years was called to be with our Lord on April 19, 2014 in Dubuque, Iowa. She was born to Felipe and Narcisa (Flores) Casiano in Laredo, Texas. She is survived by her only child Laura (Schwalb), son- in- law James, and grandchildren William, Daniel, and Luz.
She was preceded in death by her husband Isauro Perez and her sisters Guadalupe Gonzalez, Lilia Martinez and Evangelina Martinez. May they all be waiting to greet her.
She will be dearly missed by friends and family of whom there are numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The visitation will begin on Sunday, May 4 at 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at St. Luke's Catholic Church (4603 Manitou Dr) starting at 10:30 a.m.. Burial to follow at San Fernando II.
