Mary G. Lazo

Mary G. Lazo, beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, entered rest on July 11, 2013 at the age of 87. A native of San Antonio, she was born on March 14, 1926 to Albino and Concepcion Garza. She was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings; husband, Joe G. Lazo. She is survived by her daughter, Hope L. Aguillon and husband Andrew; grandchildren: A.J., Debra and Emily Aguillon; special niece, Rosie Cardenas. Mary was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and a volunteer at the OLS Senior Center. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers Funeral Chapels with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2013 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
