Mary Ninfa Ozuna, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed from this earth on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the age of 50. Ninfa was a native of San Antonio, Texas born to Jesus I. and Maria Ninfa Garcia on June 7, 1961. She was preceded in death by her mother and is survived by her father; her devoted husband of 30 years, George B. Ozuna; daughter, Andrea G. Ozuna; son, Matthew G. Ozuna; brothers, Samuel V. Garcia and wife Mary Nelda Garcia, Jesse David Garcia and wife Cynthia G. Garcia; nephews, Samuel and James Garcia. Mary Ninfa was totally devoted to her “Shamrock Family” of Incarnate Word High School, where she served as Director of Enrollment. She loved her children and loved life to the fullest, she especially enjoyed her many friends. She enjoyed music and loved to dance. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family would like to have her legacy remembered forever at Incarnate Word High School by establishing an endowment fund in her name.
