She was a devout Catholic and a dedicated volunteer at St. Phllip of Jesus Catholic Church, who sang in the choir with a beautiful and worshipful voice. She was recognized as a dedicated volunteer at St. Bonaventure Senior Nutrition Program. She was the center of the family who joyfully provided her skills and talents in cooking, crocheting, and sewing. Sunday dinners with Mom were wonderful occasions to share with the family. She was a generous, kind person who never spoke ill of anyone and was one to cherish time with her family. She is greatly missed, but we feel blessed to have had her with us throughout our lives. We are thankful to God that we experienced her courage and strength through difficult times and her joy in happy times.
Because of restrictions imposed due to COVID-19, private services will be limited to immediate family only on September 8, 2020. She will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery joining her beloved husband, son, and son-in-law. We know her extended family and friends will be with us in spirit to remember her in prayer.
