Nicolasa M. Lopez

Nicolasa M. Lopez went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2022 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her parents Rafael and Tiodula Medina; husband, Leonard Lopez; son, Jesse Cantu; grandchildren, Jason Cantu and Paul Cadena; great granddaughter, Autumn Lee. Nicolasa is survived by her children, Irma Perez, Sylvia Cadena, Jose Cantu, Jr., Sandra Cantu-Griffith and Debbie Fabela; 14 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Nicolasa enjoyed creating ceramics, dancing and singing. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2022 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Roy Akers, 515 N. Main Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2022 at St, Timothy Catholic Church, 1515 Saltillo. A committal service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
