

She was born on November 6, 1927, in San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato, to her beloved parents, Cirila Briones and Pedro Cardenas, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her cherished siblings: Simona, Ricardo, Leonicio, Serafin, Angel, and Consuelo.
Nicolasa lived a long and meaningful life rooted in family, strength, and tradition. She will be remembered for her enduring love, resilience, and the care she gave to those around her.
She is survived by her loving son, Lorenzo (Rosa); her grandchildren, Ricardo (Francine) and Edward (Maria); five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will continue to honor her memory.
Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and the family she held close to her heart. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, US, on April 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the Rosary at the same location on April 21, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 804 Ruiz St, San Antonio, TX 78207, US, on April 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Graveside Service at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237, US, on April 22, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
