Ninfa M. Galvan

Ninfa M. Galvan, our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister entered rest on May 6, 2014 at the age of 87. She was born in San Benito, Texas to Gilbert L. and Dolores Maldonado on December 17, 1926. Ninfa worked as a Librarian with civil service for over 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Blanche Gordeyev; husband Hector Galvan Sr. and their eldest son, Hector R. Galvan. She is survived by children: Thomas Galvan and wife Rosalinda; Randy Galvan, Carol Swank and husband Wallace, Jr.; youngest sister, Elva Cummings and her son, Michael; beloved grandchildren: Raymond, Steven and Brandon Swank. She will be greatly missed by her family. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2014 to celebrate a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church.
