With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Noe “Sonny” Salinas, who left this world to be with the Lord on September 22, 2026, at the age of 92.
Noe brought an immeasurable amount of love and happiness to everyone who knew him. The love he gave and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever.
Noe graduated from Fox Tech High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in both Korea and Japan. He later retired after 35 years in the insurance business and went on to become an insurance broker.
Noe enjoyed the finer things in life. He loved to travel and visited Aruba, Jamaica, The Bahamas, and Hawaii. However, his favorite place was Las Vegas, which he visited more than 100 times.
Noe loved being surrounded by his family and friends. His loving presence brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He had a big, beautiful heart and always wanted to help anyone in any way he could.
Noe will forever be loved and remembered by his beloved wife, Lynda Salinas; stepdaughter, Mary Elizabeth Gonzalez; and granddaughter, Alyssa Linn Salas.
He is also survived by his brother, Eloy M. Salinas; nephew, Eloy Jr. and his wife, Tasha Salinas; nephew, Christopher and his wife Orie Salinas; and numerous nieces and nephews, sister in laws and brother in laws.
He will be forever loved and deeply missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, US, on October 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the Rosary at the same location on October 15, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Graveside Service will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209, US, on October 16, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
