Dear jesus, this note is being dictated to me from david. I remember meeting you so many years ago with my dear sister, norka, whose memory I hold so dear. I live in New York city, in an assisted living facility and would love to share memories of my late sister with you, and my brother samuel. I met dear Norka at the Manicaragua Camp in 1959.  Then again in Miami where we shared quite a few hours of conversation together with her brother David. I have lived in Brownsville, TX, for the last 47 years and have visited San Antonio very often as I have a son that lives there with his family.  I just learned that the church that she started in Miami had moved to San Antonio many years ago, and I regret so much not knowing before so I could have visited her.  Now I read about her obituary in 2012...how sad! But our many, many memories will live forever.  God bless her soul.  Can anybody tell me about David?

Norka we will miss you.  We are thankful to God for having you in our lives.  Your life was an inspiration to many.  Many lives have been touched because of you.  Thank you for all you taught us.  You will forever be in our hearts.

Pastora Norka, I just wanted to thank God for placing you in our life. We had the privilege of being taught by the very best. God's mercy let us see first hand what having a real relationship with Him means. We will always love you for being our very first pastor, what a privilege to have known and loved you. I met Norka as a child,at the age of 8. As a teen I grew up under her teachings and exhortations. On my wedding day, she was one of the officiators.  my children were dedicated to God by her...The impact she had on my life is more than I can express in words.  I know that as she stands in the presence of the Lord she will be able to know how many lives her own life touched and change, and it will take all eternity to find out!

Surely Norka is breaking the "Guinness Book of Heaven's Records," praising God and casting all her many crowns at the feet of Jesus.  I don't remember the name of the restaurant where I lost all track of time one afternoon, captivated by Norka's life's story.  I'd met Norka at a citywide prayer meeting and felt instantly drawn to her - Norka had that effect on people.  However, I would never have guessed that the lively but gentle, self-effacing stranger sitting across the lunch table had traveled the nations, packing countless adventures and exploits into one short lifetime.  Perhaps someday, someone will be inspired to write Norka's biography.  (If so, I'd like to purchase several copies!)  The Bible tells us that it is the glory of God to conceal His most rare and precious treasures.  I've never met anyone who personified that truth more than Norka Feijoo (and her faithful friends and church members)   Though she remained relatively hidden from the world during her lifetime, I can't help but wish that all the world could know the story of one of God's dearest and most beloved treasures - Norka Feijoo, humble servant and mighty general of God's army.

Norka was an inspiration especially in my youth. I met her for the first time in the summer youth camp in Manicaragua, Cuba. Those of us who came to know her are thankful for her life of dedication to out Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray for her family. We will miss her! Bertica Vasseur

Thank you Lord for Norka's commited life to your service. Her exemplary life was an inspiration to me and many others who met her.
Her compassionate life extended a helping hand to many refugees who came to the USA escaping from communist Cuba. Many found true liberation because Norka led them to know Christ.

Norka, thanks for your love and compassion...Thanks for a life shared with "the least of these." out of your sincere and profound faith. You extended your hospitality to all of us who were blessed to come to a new land as part of the Peter Pan migration...so many of us owe so much to you...
So many memories...so many "camping adventures," so many laughters, so many tears...Rest in peace, dear mentor, dear friend and dear pastor.
