Oscar Davila

Oscar Davila, beloved husband, father and grandfather, entered rest on March 9, 2014 at the age of 83. A native of San Antonio, he was born on May 14, 1930 to Jose G. and Dolores Davila. Mr. Davila honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian John Davila; sister, Josie Davila Salinas; brother, Joe Davila. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Davila; children: Oscar Davila, Denise Davila Davis and husband Kevin; Samantha Davila Cruz and husband Edward; grandchildren: Austin Michael Wolf, Giovanni Zhane Corso, Hunter Ryan Wolf and Gavin Edward Cruz; sister, Mary Davila Garcia and husband Robert; and other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Monday, March 17, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:15 a.m. Graveside Service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
