Patricio was a son, a brother, a father, and grandfather, and friend. Through his work as a project engineer he traveled the world spanning from Trinidad and Tobago to Iraq, Sarajevo, Pakistan, the Philippines, and beyond. He was fond of fun, food, dancing, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, laughing, scotch, Pecan Sandies, and speaking his mind. Following in the footsteps of his mother, Patricio was an extremely hard worker with high expectations and low levels of patience. Also like his mother, he was a master in the kitchen being able to whip up delicious plates of food – from tacos to tortas – with whatever ingredients were on hand. His spirit was infectious and had an impact on anyone fortunate enough to cross his path. A very complex but simple man, he will be missed by all.
Patricio is preceded in death by his parents; his 2nd wife Barbara Nungaray.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years: Alicia; children: Patricio Nungaray Jr. and his wife Esmeralda, Kristina Nungaray and her husband David Clarke; grandchildren: Annalisa Nungaray and Marleyna Nungaray; children (Alicia): Dolores and her husband Christopher, Mary and her husband Matthew, David and his wife Rosie; grandchildren (Alicia): Abby, Luna, Madison, and Christian; children (Barbara): Angelica, Daniel; siblings: Hipolito (Paul) Covarrubias, Ramon Galvan Nungaray and his wife Margaret, Eusebio Galvan Nungaray, Juan Antonio Galvan Nungaray and his wife Margaret, Margarita Sylvia Ramirez; the mother of his children: Rosemary Nungaray.
