Pete graduated from Jefferson High School in 1974 and Married Maria Esperanza Cardenas on January 25,1975.
They became parents when Pedro Alejandro was born December 24th ,1976. They called him Alex, their firstborn son.
Within 2 years, Pete moved his young family to Houston Texas in search of better work opportunities.
He began his career in hydraulics with an entry level position, packing and shipping hydraulic parts for Womack Machine supply in Houston. After demonstrating his aptitude for mechanics and mathematical accuracy, he was encouraged by the Company to take on training and certifications to learn more, and moved to inside sales and servicing. He continued his education through constant training in the field and became exceptional at his job.
With the birth of James and Victoria, the family decided to move out of the big city and settled in beautiful Magnolia, Texas, where they lived until 1996.
An opportunity was offered in the same field of hydraulics sales in San Antonio with Hydraquip Hydraulics. It was time to go home. The kids weren’t entirely happy about leaving the home and friends they had known for nearly two decades , but they adapted quickly.
Pete’s experience and work ethic provided new opportunity when Wilson Company hired him on, and it was his intent to eventually retire with the company after many years of doing what he did best.
Pete loved the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros and the San Antonio Spurs. He enjoyed playing golf when he was able. He loved Country & Tejano music and would sing karaoke on any occasion he could. He loved cold beer or a shot of quality tequila. Barbequing and cooking for his family and friends was his love language . Holiday parties at "The Bosquez Estate" were multi generation celebrations of life with family and friends.
Pete will be missed by the many friends he worked with, partied with, and even argued with, but he left this world after having experienced one of the happiest and most loving nights of his life, surrounded by family that will love him forever.
He will forever be in our hearts .
