Pedro T. Hinojosa

rest on July 1, 2013 at the age of 77. A native of San Antonio, he was

born to Ignacio and Pola Hinojosa on March 10, 1936. He worked for the

City of San Antonio in the Parks and Recreation Department, retiring

after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents;

sisters, Adela Elizondo, Janie Sanchez; brother, Ignacio Hinojosa; aunt

and uncle Tomatila and Jesse Munoz; uncle, Alfonso Hinojosa . He is

survived by his wife of 56 years, Janie B. Hinojosa; their

children: Pedro Hinojosa Jr. and Maria Guitron, Michael Hinojosa and

wife Sandra, Yolanda Delgado and husband David, Rebecca Guillen and

husband Moises, Victor Hinojosa and partner James Ray;

grandchildren: Desiree, Dominique and Danielle Delgado, Christopher

Hinojosa and fiancée Savannah Wilkins; great-grandson, Noah

Hinojosa. Pedro will be remembered by his family for his loving

kindness and devotion to his family. The family will receive friends at

5:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a

Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the

funeral home at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 to celebrate a 9:30

a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 618 S.

Grimes. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park. Please
