Born in Eagle Pass, Texas on January 7, 1952 to Plutarco L Sanchez and Consuelo Galan de Sanchez who preceded him in death.

Attended Brackenridge High School in San Antonio and attended Gary Job Corp in San Marcos, Texas.

Arturo worked at The Hyatt Regency on the San Antonio Riverwalk for 30 years.

Lived in San Antonio most of his life before moving to Round Rock to live with his sister in 2020.

He is survived by sisters; Amelia Guerra and husband Manuel, Carmen Dana and Rosa Maria Logan.

He is also survived by nieces; Veronica Guerra, Andrea Guerra, Manuel Guerra Jr and wife Kathryn, Marina Claxton and husband Corey, Adriana Standifer and husband Kevin, Monica Sampson and husband Sean, Iliana Jimenez, Rebecca Kennedy and husband Terrance.

He is also survived by numerous grand nieces and one great-grand nephew.

A visitation for Plutarco will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a service at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A graveside service will occur Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM at San Fernando #2 Cemetery, 743 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
