Born October 5, 1975, to Roberto and Pauline Garza, she was the fourth of five children. She grew up breaking records in sports and participating in Girl Scouts. She was such a giving, friendly, witty, and down to earth person and was loved by anybody that crossed her path. No matter if she had just met them or known them all her life, if they needed something she would find a way to help them. Her smile was huge and infectious, so even if they didn’t know her that smile and laugh would draw them in and make them want to know her. The ultimate loves of her life were her three beautiful and brave daughters, whom she worked so hard for. Sometimes working two jobs, she always did everything to provide for her girls. She loved downtown and working on the river walk, especially alongside her “River Family”. She loved the river and knew its history like the back of her hand. So as the Tower of Life shines at night, think of her, and as the oldest Cypress tree on the river sways in the breeze, think of her. Her bright spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
She is survived by her wonderful daughters: Alyssa Nicole Fraga, Pennelope Rae Garza, and Judy Ann Garza; handsome grandson: Stephen Mark Garza III; mother: Pauline Garza; boyfriend: Jason Gallardo; siblings: Ruth and Alfred Garza, Ernest and Diane Garza, Rebecca and Martin Mendoza, Gennifer and Brandon Molina; nieces and nephews: Tiffany Hudson, Kristopher Hudson, Elayna Franco, Monique Medellin, Crystal Garcia, Robert Amasquita, Mercedez Mendoza, Robert Mendoza, Alex Mendoza, Anthony Mendoza, Wes’ Brooke Molina, Sage Molina, Zion Molina.
