Ramiro C. Quesada

Born on December 23, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, Ray (also affectionately known to many as "Miro") grew up in a lively household as one of eight brothers and sisters, whom he deeply loved and held immense affection for throughout his life. From a young age, he

developed a strong work ethic and a generous heart. He attended Fox Tech High School before proudly answering the call to serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Following his military service, Ray dedicated many years of hard work to Kelly Air Force Base, from which he eventually retired.

Ray was a man who truly appreciated the simple, beautiful things in life. He had a deep love for the great outdoors, but his greatest joy was

always found in the time he spent with his family. Known for his quick wit and unforgettable, funny sayings, Ray brought laughter to every room he walked into. Quite simply, he was everyone's favorite. He was a man of integrity consistently a hard worker and always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Ray was preceded in death by father Juan Quesada; mother Guadalupe Cardenas Quesada and brother Daniel Quesada.

He is survived by his loving children, Eric David Quesada, Santos Tina Quesada, and Kevin Ray Quesada and his wife, Brenda G. Quesada.

His legacy of kindness, humor, and devotion lives on through his cherished grandchildren, Lauren Rae Quesada Love, Celeste Ann Quesada, Marina Tyler Quesada, and Madison Elise Quesada. He is also survived by brothers and sisters Rudy, Robert, John Raymond, Gloria, Graciela, Richard and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

A celebration of Ray’s life and military service will be held on July 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM at: Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers 515 N Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205
