Ramon G. Gonzalez

Ramon was welcomed into the arms of the Lord Friday, September 20, 2024 at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his parents Baldemar and Isabel Gonzalez, Mother in law Dora Elia Trevino, and brother Daniel Gonzalez. Ramon leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years Rosalba Ramirez Gonzalez, children Dora Isabel Gonzalez and Baldemar Eleazar Gonzalez, granddaughter Analyssa Marie Martinez. Numerous brothers, sisters, sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, former co-workers, and friends.

Born on July 3, 1956, in San Buenaventura, Coahuila, Ramon lived a life filled with joy, love, and laughter. As a proud resident of San Antonio, his home echoed with his favorite music and the sounds of shared happiness. He also enjoyed baking different kinds of bread on any random day. He enjoyed the simple things in life, gathering with family, watching TV, caring for his plants and keeping up with current events and pranking someone any chance he got. At family gatherings and parties he loved to sing along with the Mariachis. He also was a man of great faith, no matter what life obstacle was put in front of him he left it in God's hands “con el favor de Dios” he would say and God would definitely provide.

In his lifetime he worked as a custodian in different companies where his work ethic was always positively recognized, and which is where he gained many friends and friends that became family.

We are blessed to have had him in our lives and are left now with the sweet memories and moments that we shared together with him.

A visitation for Ramon will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd, with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
