Rebecca Z. Davila

Rebecca Z. Davila, 84, went to be with her Lord on January 6, 2018. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 7, 1934 to Joe Ernest Zamora and Rebecca Hinojosa. During her life, Rebecca worked at Frost Brothers, Joske’s, and retired from JC Penny’s. She also worked part time for Region 21 as a teachers aid until 2017. Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents: Eduardo and Aurelia Hinojosa; sister: Alicia Zamora; brother: Estevan Rodriguez; her daughter: Rebecca Vela, and her grandchild: John Albert Davila Jr. She is survived by her siblings: Victoria Rodriguez and Sylvia Rodriguez; her children: Sandra Rincon, Christine Davila, John Davila, Loretta Vargas and husband Roland, Frank Anaya III and wife Priscilla; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, January 15, the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Jude Church, with interment to follow at San Fernando II.
