Rebecca Z. Davila

Rebecca Z. Davila, 84, went to be with her Lord on January 6, 2018. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 7, 1934 to Joe Ernest Zamora and Rebecca Hinojosa. During her life, Rebecca worked at Frost Brothers, Joske’s, and retired from JC Penny’s. She also worked part time for Region 21 as a teachers aid until 2017. Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents: Eduardo and Aurelia Hinojosa; sister: Alicia Zamora; brother: Estevan Rodriguez; her daughter: Rebecca Vela, and her grandchild: John Albert Davila Jr. She is survived by her siblings: Victoria Rodriguez and Sylvia Rodriguez; her children: Sandra Rincon, Christine Davila, John Davila, Loretta Vargas and husband Roland, Frank Anaya III and wife Priscilla; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, January 15, the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Jude Church, with interment to follow at San Fernando II.

Dear Grandma Rebecca Z Davila this is your granddaughter Linda and her kids are. Amerie and Miguel we are going to miss you you may be gone but never forgotten tears rolled down her eyes as we see you say we'll see you soon not a goodbye it is I'll see you soon but as I sit here thinking it still seems like a dream and I am in shock but now I am believing it because I see it all over the place that it is true that you went with our Lord but hey Grandma you fly high and look at us up above don't let nothing harm none of us and may you tell my grandma's and everybody up there I said a great big hello and that I love them very much thank you for being the greatest grandma ever and the independent grandma that you showed us how to be love you you are a dream come true you are the best grandma I ever met in my life I wish I could have met my other grandma's but I bet you they were exactly like you they were awesome but only words cannot say anymore how beautiful and wonderful you are there is nothing there is just like a? In my mind that says that you are an awesome Grandma so fly high grandma love you go with the angels and tell all the angels that you have a wonderful family down here that really loves you and amazing family that would always do for you love you Grandma fly high love your granddaughter linda y kids Amerie and Miguel...oxox
