Rebecca T. Sanchez went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2013 at the age of 93. Rebecca lived a long very healthy and happy life with her husband Daniel Sanchez who has preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Tamez, Margie Suarez, Arnulfo Tamez and Rodolfo Tamez. Rebecca is survived by her sisters, Aurora Belton, Esperanza Martinez, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main. A 8:00 a.m. mass will celebrated Friday, October 4, 2013 at St. Henry Catholic Church, no procession from the funeral home to the church. Interment to follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
