Refugia L. Blancarte

Refugia L. Blancarte, age 90, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. Refugia was born June 14, 1932 in to Refugio and Teresa Luebano. She attended Lanier High School and later worked at Kelly Air Force Base doing data entry. Refugia also loved her family and cats more than anything.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Luis Blancarte Jr.; and her daugher, Elizabeth Jade. She is survived by son, Luis Blancarte III; her 5 grandchildren, Genevieve, Luis IV, Larry, Luke, and Gabriela; her 5 great grandchildren, Holly, Lily, Ivy, Logan, and Hunter; and her sister, Antonia; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Refugia will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205. Following the visitation will be a committal service at 1:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78109.
