Reno John Kraft

Reno John Kraft, affectionately known as John, entered this world on November 25, 1966, in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas. He departed peacefully on September 15, 2026, after bravely battling a long battle against heart and lung disease.

John was the cherished son of Reno Anton Kraft and Mary Laura Kraft Rodriguez, who predeceased him. His sisters, Dorothy Rene Kraft and Rebecca Lola Kraft, have also predeceased him.

John's legacy is carried forward by his beloved daughters, Meygan Kathleen Kraft and Amber Nicole Kraft, both residing in Maumee, Ohio.

His surviving sisters, Pearl Paveglio (Mike), Shirley Kraft, Rachel M. Grohman (Larry), Ranie Phyllis Kraft, and Renie Connie Littlefield, all from San Antonio, Texas.

He was the youngest member of a large and loving family, with seven older sisters who doted on him and each shared a unique bond and cherished memories of their own. The family extends across generations with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will carry forth his free spirit and adventures nature.

John will forever be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his unwavering love for family and friends, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures.

John's educational journey led him through Thomas Edison High School, where he formed friendships that would last a lifetime. He was blessed with a handful of childhood friends who stood by him through thick and thin, forming bonds that transcended time and distance.

He embarked on his professional path with dedication and versatility, taking on roles that included being a commercial truck driver with San Antonio Floor Finishers, event staff at Marquee Event Rentals, a plumber’s apprentice at Gibson Plumbing, and a concrete mason at Pronto Sandblasting & Coating. In each role, he displayed an unwavering work ethic that was as much a part of him as his love for those around him.

A man of many interests, John was known for his love of anything with wheels. Cars, trucks, and bikes captivated him, and he could often be found riding his ten-speed bike with a radiant smile, exploring the city he called home. His heart, however, belonged to the ocean. Summer trips to Corpus Christi brought him immense joy, as he delighted in the sea life and the serenity of the beach.

John was a social soul, with a warm and friendly demeanor that endeared him to everyone he met. His innate curiosity and kindness led him to form connections wherever he went, enriching the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
