I have many wonderful memories of Richard and the one I treasure is the picture of him smiling at his baby grandson.  What a gift God gave him before his passing.

I was so saddened to hear this shocking news. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Richard and I were best of friends throughout our high school years, I only wish we could have kept in touch more. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Richard and I were best of friends all through high school at Central.   Both played clarinet in the marching band and sax in the dance band. 

Richard, Julio César Hernandez and myself got into all kind of mischief throughout those years. After high school I left town for college and a career in the Air Force. When I returned to San Antonio tried to find Richard but was unsuccessful. 

I will certainly miss him. I know he had to turn out to be a great person. So sad to hear of his passing. 

We are old , old friends of Richard and Irene when we lived in San Antonio from 1968-71.
We had many wonderful times together with boating and motorcycles.  Our sadness is tempered with good memories.  

I always loved going to parties at Uncle Richard and Aunt Irene’s house because they were so welcoming and had the best home! As a little girl I remember vividly the loving gatherings in the garage and beautiful backyard playing with cousins, aunts and uncles! ❤️

We will miss cuddle bear,  Richard.  He was such a loving and kind man.  May he rest in his Heavenly Father's arms forever.  God hold you close Irene, Sherry and family and give you peace.
