Rogerio Molina, age 88, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Rogerio was born September 28, 1933 in Roma, Texas to Ramiro and Eliza Molina. Rogerio graduated from Rio Grande City High School, where he was Salutorian and voted by his class as most likely to succeed. He joined the United States Air Force and would give 33 years of service before retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank in the U.S.. Air Force. Rogerio was never one to sit still, and way always working on something. He was a jack of all trades and never met a task that he couldn't accomplish.
Rogerio is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife of 57 years, Maria Molina; his daughter, Sandra; and his granddaughter Lauren Molina. He is survived by his 3 children, Adriana, Rebecca, and Luis; 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan, Chondra, Megan, Morgan, and Sydney; 7 great grandchildren, William, Mason, Hailey, Aiden, Ashton, Santo David, Nicholas, and Rylee; and his brother, Ramiro Jr.
Rogerio's family would like to extend their gratitude towards Cristina, Simon, Jarvis, and Deborah Termure for taking care of him these past years as well as thank Patricia for her assistance.
A visitation for Rogerio will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 350 Sutton Dr, San Antonio, Texas 78228 with committal service following at 11:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
