of San Antonio enjoyed 44 years of marriage together.
Rosie was a dedicated teacher, having received her Masters Degree in Education from UTSA and enjoying 30 years of classroom experience at the Elementary, High School, and College levels. Her greatest joys were training young minds to be successful students and to love reading and writing. She also taught teacher candidates the rewards and trials of teaching in the public schools.
Rosie enjoyed cooking, baking and crafting. Always the teacher, she enjoyed sharing recipes, cooking tips, and crafting instructions with family and friends. Decorating the house for the various holidays was one of her biggest joys, especially when she could get her granddaughters involved. It was one of her biggest thrills to be able to decorate the standing mailboxes in our cul-de-sac for each Christmas season.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Evaristo (Buddy) Mancha, Jr., Frank Mancha, nephew Frankie Mancha, and many other members of her family. She is survived by her sister, Aurora Khosravi husband, David; son, Michael and wife Lauren; and her granddaughters, Elia Anne and Audrey Marie and numerous nieces and nephews.
