The family of Ruth Salinas Molano is sadden to announce the sudden passing of their mother on August 22, 2021, at the age of 98. Ruth was born on June 14, 1923, to Jesus M. and Dominga A. Salinas in Newcastle, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Antonio M. Molano, sisters Enriqueta and Natalia Salinas, Albertina S. Tarin, Esther S. Orozco; brothers Fidel, and Teodoro Salinas; brother-in-law’s Jorge Barragan, Jesus R. Tarin, and Petronilo Orozco.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Alpha Omega Cobarruvias (David), grandson Aaron (Sheri), and numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Rosa Maria Salinas, her dear friends Ninfa Gonzales, Esperanza Rodriguez, Martha Hernandez, and Juanita Pena.
Pallbearer: will be Mario Barragan, Dr. Antonio Cadena, Luis Fernandez, Severo Alvarado, Harry Cortez
and Jeremy Gaytan
Visitation will begin 6:00 pm Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Roy Akers, 515 N. Main Ave. with a 7:00 pm Prayer Service. Visitation will continue 12:00 (noon) Monday, September 13, 2021 at 24/7 Church, 5414 N. Loop 1604 E. with a 12:30 pm Service. Interment to follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
